Naga City, Camarines Sur, the Philippines, 25 April 2017 – ESCA Knowledge
signed today a Memorandum of Agreement for Industry-Academe and Training
Partnership with the Ateneo de Naga University (ADNU).

Fr. Primitivo Viray, S.J., ADNU President commented that with common
passion, mission and vision in developing our youth, to contribute and
benefit from global society for the transformation of the Filipino nation –
the development of Bicol, we look forward to working together.

Under the partnership, ESCA Knowledge will enable ADNU to offer as part of
its curriculum, and for its graduates to be trained for applications in
Building Information Modeling (BIM) and gain significant industry exposure
and practice to add competitive value. Together with ADNU, ESCA Knowledge
will also offer short course on BIM in and for the Bicol region.

Ateneo de Naga is the premier higher educational institution in the Bicol
region – a region that accounts for 6% of the 500,000 engineering students
in the country. In 2016, Naga City was elevated as a “Next Wave City” by the
Philippine IT-BPM industry.

Translating a trusted brand to skills and knowledge development, ESCA
Knowledge is matching skills and training with industry needs, and the
partnership aims to produce Knowledge Professionals in BIM and other
technological opportunities that are increasingly required by the global
architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) sector.

Dr. Ernesto de Castro, ESCA Knowledge’s Chairman and Immediate Past
President of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers is referred to as
the country’s “Mr BIM” for his true advocacy on the wider adoption of BIM in
the country.
